We make quite a lot of tiramisu at our house and one thing required for really good tiramisu is whipped cream. We don't use Ready Whip! We whip our cream (lol) with an industrial Kitchen Aid mixer. This mixer makes quite a bit of noise.
Now, Seamus usually heads out onto the deck when we are making mechanical noises in the kitchen. Banging and grinding noises tend to make him nervous. The exception to this rule is when he hears the mixer. He has come to associate the sound of the mixer with the taste of whipped cream. When the mixer starts, within seconds Seamus will be waiting for a sample.
